Take Home Cars – With One Stipulation

If they want to take the car home – they have to live within the city limits. That’s the ruling from the Anderson City Council regarding a new policy being implemented. It was presented to the council by Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr. and must be approved by the Anderson Board of Public Safety. There will be exceptions to the policy; officers with canine partners and detectives who are on call will have access to take-home cars.
