No agreement could be reached between Muncie Community Schools and the teachers union. Now the state will step in and appoint a fact finder, who will choose one of the two “last best offers” presented by both sides at their last meeting. The Indiana Education Employment Relations Board is expected to announce the hearing date and appoint a fact finder on Friday.
