MCS Picks New Bus Company

Going with the least expensive bid, Muncie Community Schools has hired a national busing company, choosing it over over locally-based M&M Bus Company. A transportation consulting company working with MCS recommended Auxilio Services, based in Michigan. There were two votes against going that route, from board members Bev Kelly and Jason Donati. The Auxilio bid came in at a million and a half dollars depending on routes, and the arrangement could mean new buses with seat belts.
