The judge of Dunkirk’s City Court has been placed on probation for a year after shoving Police Chief Dane Mumbower. 62-year-old Tommy Phillips the second has been handed a one-year suspended sentence in the case. Phillips pleaded guilty to battery against a public safety official. In exchange for his plea, the judge’s conviction was dropped to a misdemeanor.
