A Muncie woman who was 17 when she allegedly fatally shot her boyfriend will not be prosecuted as an adult. She was arrested on a preliminary charge of reckless homicide on Aug. 19 but because of her age was taken to the Delaware County Juvenile Detention rather than the county jail. The judge has denied a request by prosecutors to waive the case into adult court.
