Superintendent Baule Addresses Deficit

In the wake of a rally supporting Muncie Community Schools and its teachers, the district superintendent is speaking out. Steven Baule tells the Star Press, “Clearly we have a problem with public education in Indiana,” making reference to the district asking the state to allow a 15 percent pay cut because the current contract is causing a deficit.  Neither side is discussing whether the 15 percent reduction is still on the table.
