Anderson Police brought in two suspects accused of robbing a C-V-S and leading officers on a high-speed chase down Interstate 69, Tuesday. Dequan Hinkle and Ryan Curlin, both of Indianapolis, are in jail after officers say Hinkle walked into the pharmacy on South Scatterfield Road and pointed a handgun at pharmacy employees, demanding narcotics. He was able to obtain an undisclosed amount. A witness outside watched Hinkle exit the store and drive off. He then followed behind in his own vehicle, giving details to authorities. Officers caught up with the suspects and chased them to Exit 222, where Pendleton police deployed stop sticks, which flattened the vehicle’s tires, bringing the car to a stop.
