House Panel Approves Requirement To Give Pregnant Woman Drug Induced Abortion Info

An Indiana House panel clashed over the science behind a disputed method to purportedly stop drug-induced abortions and narrowly approved a requirement for pregnant women to receive information about it before undergoing their procedure. The author of the bill contends it gives pregnant women a chance to change their minds. However, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has stated the so-called abortion reversal procedure is not scientifically proven to work.
