Muncie police are not sure if they’re connected, but they’re investigating two early Monday morning robberies at local convenience stores. An armed robber held up the BP store on West Memorial Drive and hours later, the Shell station on S. Tillotson Ave. In both holdups, the bandit displayed a small handgun and was described as wearing a mask and dark gloves.
