Anderson Woman Cuffed After High Speed Chase

An Anderson woman who was wanted on five warrants was arrested after she led police on a pursuit through Delaware County last evening. The events started on SR 67 where a car was clocked doing 92 M.P.H. in the 55 M.P.H. zone.
A trooper tried to pull the vehicle over but the driver refused and eventually turned east onto Eaton-Albany Pike from there, the pursuit proceeded to the area around the Muncie Drag Strip where the right front suspension gave out on the car and it stopped. The driver 28 year old Ashley D. Patterson of Anderson, was taken into custody and charged with a number of counts including resisting law enforcement.
