He wants to change the time of the meetings. Newly elected Madison County Commissioner Mike Phipps of the middle district suggested moving the next council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 17; from 10am to 6pm. Phipps says the move would allow more residents to attend – citing just one member of the public in attendance. The motion died for a lack of a second.
