Plea Deal Rejected In “Dog Hell” Case

In a case involving what prosecutors say was a “hell for dogs,” the judge has rejected a proposed plea agreement. 25-year-old Jacob Pelfrey of the 3900 block of North Nebo Road had 46 dogs seized from his property. Authorities say the dogs were living in horrible conditions with no food and water. Pelfrey is due to go to trial March 20th on a number of animal cruelty counts and for failure to register as a dog breeder.
