A Muncie man accused of beating up his girlfriend has been arrested. 52 year old Trevis Douglass of the 22-hundred block of North Turner Street, is charged with strangulation and domestic battery. Police say they arrived at a disturbance at his home Tuesday night and found a woman with a split lip and scratches on her arms and legs. Douglass claims his accuser bit his hands during an altercation. He was held in lieu of $7,000 bond.
