On the opening day of the General Assembly, Senate Minority Leader Tim Lanane, of Anderson, predicted “huge tax increases” on the horizon for motorists even as high-income earners and corporations enjoy continued tax breaks. Lanane says pro-business Republicans should halt a series of cuts signed by outgoing Gov. Mike Pence that are costing millions of dollars in lost tax revenues.
