Search warrants were executed Thursday at Muncie City Hall and federal officers took away more than a dozen boxes along with at least one computer tower. Mayor Dennis Tyler issued a statement confirming the search and said the city fully intends to cooperate in the investigation. Also, the Star Press reports state police and FBI agents were seen at the Selma-area home of Muncie Building Commissioner Craig Nichols Thursday morning. No specifics on what the search hopes to uncover.
