He’s accused of using an odd weapon in the assault of another man. 49-year-old Richard Eldridge, of Elwood, is facing one count of battery with a deadly weapon after charging at another man with what investigators say was a curved medieval pick ax. Eldridge was being held in the Madison County Jail under a 10-thousand dollar bond.
