Pipe Bombs Detonated In Downtown Muncie

Some tense moments in downtown Muncie Thursday after explosive devices were found outside a local business. A wooden box containing several pipe bombs was found in the parking lot of PDQ Taxi at the intersection of Jackson and South Madison Streets.  The Delaware County bomb squad safely detonated the explosives. 38-year-old Lionel Ray Mackey Jr. has been arrested in the case. Police say the incident was motivated by a longstanding domestic issue.
