A local contractor’s lawsuit against city of Muncie officials over demolitions has been thrown out of federal court. The lawsuit was filed by Shroyer Bros. in U.S. District Court, after a months-long dispute over the release of $20,000 in bond money put up by the owner of a demolished motel on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Mayor Dennis Tyler says he is pleased with the outcome.
