A Muncie man is facing charges after he attacked and choked a city police officer. Those are the accusations against 22-year-old Jordan Nicholas Bibbs of South Nichols Avenue. Police were sent to his apartment on a welfare check. Bibbs was reported to be immediately confrontational and a struggle ensued. Bibbs was taken to the hospital and then to the Delaware County Jail.
