The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana is suing Knightstown over a cross that is part of the town’s Christmas display. The suit that was filed on behalf of a town resident who claims the display violates the separation of church and state. At issue is the Latin cross on top of the Christmas tree. The suit seeks monetary damages and the removal of the cross from the display.
