One of the reported leaders of a heroin ring with extensive connections to Madison County has received a sentence of 14 years, with nine years to be served and five on probation. 22-year-old Telly Bluitt of Indianapolis has been sentenced for aiding, inducing or causing dealing in narcotics. Bluitt, along with his father, were among 24 people arrested in August 2015 in what police described as a drug operation as busy as a restaurant drive-thru.
