Saturday brought the first snow showers of the season. It may also have been a contributing factor in a pair of fatal crashes in EC Indiana. 41-year-old Zachariah McKenzie was killed Saturday evening after crashing his truck into a driveway culvert on Indiana 9, about five miles north of Alexandria. The 41-year-old Anderson man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. In Muncie, 27-year-old Abigail Patterson was killed Saturday morning when she was ejected from her vehicle on U.S. 35 north of Delaware County Road 500-E. The Muncie woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
