Murder Charges Filed In Shooting Death Of Anderson Teen

Formal murder charges have been filed in an Anderson shooting. Jaylon S. Brown has officially been charged with murder in connection with the death of 18-year-old Shaolin Newsom in the driveway of a West 21st Street home. He’s being held without bond at the Madison County Jail. Earlier, 17-year-old Tyrone Jones II, was charged with assisting a criminal for his part in the crime.
