In Madison County, local races include: U.S. Representative District 5 – Incumbent Republican Susan Brooks faces challenges by Democrat Angela Demaree and Libertarian Matthew Wittlief.
In State Representative District 32, it’s Anthony Cook the Republican versus Democrat Ryan Davis. District 35 – incumbent Democrat Melanie Wright faces Republican Bill Walters, in District 36 – Democrat Terri Austin versus Republican James Shelton Jr. and in District 36 it’s a three-way race between Republican Robert Cherry, Democrat Nancy Tibbett and Libertarian candidate Rick Brown Jr.
Madison County residents will also being voting for Circuit Court Judge Division 6 – Democrat Rosemary Khorey versus Republican Mark Dudley, County Auditor – Republican Rick Gardner faces Democrat Jane Lyons, County Coroner – Democrat Marian Dunnichay takes on Republican challenger Tiffany Paddock. For County Surveyor – A three-way race between Republican Tom Shepherd, Democrat Patrick Manship and Libertarian candidate Robert Walser.
In Madison County Commissioner Races in the Middle District – Mike Phipps (R) Jeff Hardin (D) Tracey Walser (L). In the North District – John Richwine (R) Kevin Sipe (D) Daniel Ferris (L)
For Madison County Council at Large – Voters will choose three: Alex Byers (R) Mike Gaskill (R) Brent Holland (R) Patti Helms (D) Lisa Hobbs (D) Bill Savage (D) Carletta Morrison (L)
