Commissioner North District:. Michael Leonhard, Republican, will face fellow newcomer Robert Franks Jr., Democrat. Commissioner South District: Republican Richard Huffman is running against Democrat Ted Champ.
Jay County Council: Four candidates are competing for three open seats – including three incumbents and one new candidate. Jeanne Houchins (Republican), Cindy Newton (Republican) and Gary Theurer (Democrat) are current council members up against newcomer Democrat Michelle McShane.
