Some changes are coming for a Hartford City scrapyard. Hartford Iron & Metal is planning to build a storm water treatment plant and holding ponds after years of accusations that the company is violating environmental regulations. The 1.5 million dollar plan includes the acquisition and demolition of nearby homes to build the treatment facility and retention ponds.
