An Anderson trucking company is planning to move to the site of a former lumberyard. The Anderson Board of Zoning Appeals has approved a special exception for ALA Trucking to relocate from County Road 300 East to the former Carter Lumber property in the 5600 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The company has extensive plans to remodel the property with work expected to start this fall.
