The water level at Summit Lake will be lowered approximately five feet this fall to allow for dam valve repairs. Anyone planning to use the lake this winter should remember that with the lower water level, stumps and other debris may be more prominent. The amount of time it takes to refill the lake will depend on how much precipitation they get.
