A woman was killed and a man was injured when they were ejected from a motorcycle in Madison County Sunday. Authorities say 30-year-old Sarah Marie Smith, of Anderson, was pronounced dead on scene in the 2300 block of North State Road 67. Officials say the driver of the bike, 26-year-old Ali Hussaine Albarbari, of Indianapolis, left the scene and was found at the victim’s mother’s house. Albarbari was taken to the hospital to be treated and then to jail. He is expected to be charged with OWI/causing death, leaving the scene of a fatality, and driving while suspended.
