Lawyers for the City of Muncie are asking the U.S. District Court in Indy to dismiss a lawsuit filed against the city by local demolition company Shroyer Brothers. The suit claims they were denied city demolition contracts because they failed to contribute to the local Democratic Party and because the Building Commissioner has a conflict of interest due to his private demolition companies.
