A Norfolk Southern train trashed a garbage truck Monday morning. As we first reported, it happened just after 8 a.m. when emergency crews were called to a railroad crossing just off Old Ind. 3. The driver of the Muncie Sanitary District trash truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The rail crossings at Robin Lane and Riggin Road remained blocked for about two hours.
