Police arrested a 40-year-old father after he was allegedly drunk and crashed with two children in his car on the city’s east side. James Mitchell rear ended a vehicle at Jackson St and Bunch Blvd. about 7:30 p.m. last Friday. He failed a breathalizer blowing a .21 and told police the glass pipe in his pocket wasn’t his because they weren’t his pants. He’s in jail.
