INDOT crews are closing the Madison Avenue Overpass today. Demolition of the bridge is expected to begin Wednesday. For the safety of workers and motorists, one lane of I-69 will be closed and rolling slowdowns of up to 20 minutes at a time to allow for removal of the bridge deck above. A new bridge is expected to open to traffic before Labor Day.
