Storms Cause Ten Outages In Anderson

Ten separate power outages affected more than 1,000 customers after strong winds and rain rolled through Madison County Wednesday morning. The areas affected included were near West Ninth Street and Madison Avenue, along Anderson-Frankton Road and, on the south side, near 53rd Street and Southern Avenue. Tony Pouchard, superintendent of Anderson Municipal Light & Power says the outages were extended in some areas due to the replacement of light poles.
