In Muncie, more than 4,000 Indiana Michigan customers lost power Wednesday afternoon. The outage also affected traffic lights at major intersections, including Tillotson and Riverside. Power was restored to most areas by late afternoon. An I&M spokesperson says a squirrel was the cause of the outage.
