Michigan suspect tracked down in Muncie for shooting

Police in Muncie arrested a man from Michigan wanted for shooting his girlfriend in Kalamazoo on Sunday. Muncie SWAT served a warrant and arrested Victor Peery with two other men on East Princeton Avenue on Wednesday night. He reportedly has family in the area. He’s accused of shooting his 20-year-old girlfriend, who survived. Police seized heroin, cocaine and a handgun in the arrests. The two others, Jamar Hill and Tavion Wallace, are also facing drug and weapons charges.
