Muncie worker loses job over ISIS rumor, he says

A Muncie factory worker who was fired from his job last month says his employers believed a rumor he was involved with ISIS, and now he can’t get another job. The man, Tim Simmons, worked at Progress Rail for four years. The Star Press is reporting today that the company took the rumor seriously enough to have a local Department of Justice and FBI agent question him at the time of his firing. Simmons says after the agent cleared him, the company wouldn’t take him back. He says he’s still looking for a job and was denied unemployment.
