Muncie EMT sentenced for sexual battery against patient

A former EMT returning a non-verbal patient from a medical appointment in Carmel to her Wabash facility where she lives admitted in court to sexually abusing the woman while in the ambulance. 32-year-old Kyle Myers of Muncie was sentenced to 30 months in prison yesterday in Wabash Circuit Court. The victim told staffers, apparently in writing, about the sexual battery. Meyers was fired from Heartland Ambulance.
