Legal Woes Continue For Former Mayoral Candidate

Former Elwood mayoral candidate Carl “Fast Eddie” Cooper, released from prison in December, is now waiting to learn if his current residence is in violation of state law. The Herald Bulletin reports that the legal question surrounds a convicted sex offender residing within 1,000 feet of a school and whether his conviction was before the state law was enacted.
