She was in the right place at the right time. Anderson Police Department lieutenant Amber Miller-Saxhaug apprehended a carjacking suspect Wednesday while on her way to work. She happened to be across the street from a Nichols Avenue gas station when the victim explained the situation; just as the suspect drove by in the victim’s car. As she pulled the suspect over, he jumped out and fled on foot.
