Water Main Break in Muncie Sunday, 12/07/25

Indiana American Water is working on a water main break near downtown Muncie – repairs will probably take until 6 p.m. Today (12/7) unless they have unforeseen problems.

As for the Muncie Community Sing event at the North Walnut Street Fieldhouse, Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour says take Madison to Wysor, then Walnut north to Fieldhouse, or from North use Walnut.

MCS CEO Chuck Reynolds says parking in the new lot between the YMCA and the Fieldhouse is unaffected, and parking at the Star Bank lot is also unaffected – and OK to do so!

The Sing starts at 2:45 p.m.
