An Anderson man accused of taking part in a dogfighting ring has been sentenced

The 7th annual Hops with Hutch 2025 is this Saturday August 23 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Guardian Brewing in MadJax Muncie.  This Charity event will raise money for Muncie Ark.  $20 in advance, $25 at the door.  One adult beverage is offered with adult ticket. Child’s ticket comes with a slushy.  Food, live music, kids activities, and a silent auction.  The word Hutch is in honor of the late Bill Hutcherson who had nearly 50 statues of cats on his yard near the BSU campus.  Robb Riley purchased the lion (and a couple other cats) from the auction, gave it the nickname, and runs the event.

Mary’s Miles Fun Run & Community Picnic is coming Saturday at Muncie’s Westside Park. Founder Erin Lovell tells “Delaware County Today” the event is named in honor of her mother, who died after a battle with substance abuse.
