Muncie Police Look To ID Body Found In Retention Pond

Muncie Police Chief Nate Sloan said Wednesday afternoon that investigators were still in the process of identifying the remains of a woman found Tuesday in a west-side retention pond of S. Tillotson Ave. The Star Press reports Sloan said an autopsy had been conducted Wednesday morning at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Any results of the autopsy were not immediately released.
