Muncie Property Acquisition Thwars Convenience Store Plan

Follow up on a story we told you about yesterday; a proposal to open a convenience store and gas station near Central High School has been abandoned after the property was purchased by Mayor Dan Ridenour’s administration. The Star Press reports the Delaware County Board of Zoning Appeals had been scheduled to consider requested zoning variances for the project — at the former site of Concannon’s Pastry Shop at 620 N. Walnut St. — at a Thursday meeting.
