Suspicious Chesterfield Fire Possibly Linked To Stolen Car

Chesterfield Police and East Madison Fire are investigating a home fire that occurred early Tuesday morning, in the 300 block of Sycamore Street. Their release describes the fire that completely destroyed the home as suspicious. During initial investigation it was discovered a family vehicle—a 2016 red Mitsubishi Outlander—we believed to have been stolen from the garage, just minutes before the fire was reported.  Chesterfield Police are actively searching for the vehicle, and the occupant, believed to be the suspect.
