MSD Rate Discussions

A clarification from Muncie Sanitary District Administrator Rick Conrad: today’s public hearing is NOT to increase sewer rates – it is to create a new “charitable” class of user that would LOWER their rates (their base rate would go from $61.25/month to $20/month). The hearing will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Muncie City Hall.  UPDATE:  the measure passed during the Meeting.  Additional coverage on this story on Friday’s Delaware County Today on WMUN Radio.
