U.S. News & World Report ranks Burris Laboratory School and Yorktown High School as two of the best schools in the state. According to a release,Burris and Yorktown were both recognized by the report as the top two schools within the Muncie metro area based on criteria like college readiness, math and reading performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.
