An Anderson police officer says a bystander helped him take into custody a man accused of attacking the officer and trying to disarm him. The Herald Bulletin is reporting that 35-year-old John Etter, of Fishers, is charged with felony battery to a public safety officer and other counts after the Good Samaritan helped the officer subdue Etter.
