Montpelier Man Sentenced To Home Detention

A Blackford County man who beat a nine-year-old boy has been sentenced to two years on electronic home detention. 35-year-old Shad Hight of Montpelier had pleaded guilty to domestic battery after being accused of striking the boy with a closed fist twice in the head.
