Madison County Murder Trial To Begin Today

The murder trial of 31-year-old James Stewart is set to begin today.  Despite objections by defense attorneys, jury selection will take place in connection with the 2017 fatal shooting of Montez McCloud.  According to police, the 25-year-old Anderson man died after being shot nine times with a .22-caliber rifle. The presentation of evidence against Stewart is expected to begin Wednesday.
